My specialty is helping people find transformation through spiritual solutions. I draw from Christian, Buddhist, and 12 Step practices, or I can work with you on discovering other meaningful, non-religious ways to tap into your spiritual dimension. I accept all people and do not force my views and beliefs onto anyone.
Christian counseling
This approach integrates psychological, theological, and spiritual concepts into the healing process that can lead you through a healing and transformative process. I draw from Christian sources that are biblically based. Prayer, laying on of hands and anointing, confession and reconciliation and exploration of your beliefs may be part of the process to support your mental, emotional, and physical wellness. It aims to help promote mental and emotional healing by encouraging people to develop compassionate toward themselves and others.
Buddhist Counseling
The Buddha acknowledged that the world is full of suffering and focuses on ending suffering beginning on an individual level. Buddhism is not necessarily a religion, but more it is a way of living. Through practices and principles that relieve suffering we can begin to move towards liberation.
