My name is Carol Bolstad and I am glad you are here. I have been doing various forms of counseling in a variety of settings since 1982, starting as an alcohol and drug prevention and education counselor in college settings. I have also worked in outpatient settings doing addictions and mental health counseling and short-term in-patient settings.  I am a licensed and insured Mental Health and Alcohol and Drug Counselor and received my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Lesley University.

Another thing to know about me is that I was ordained a priest in the Mission Diocese of St. Nicholas in 2009 and am affiliated with the Ecumenical Catholic Diocese of New England. These are both part of the independent sacramental movement that began in the 1970’s and there is no affiliation with mainline Protestant or Roman Catholic Churches.  I was awarded my Master of Theological Studies, with a concentration in social justice from the Episcopal Divinity School. I additionally have an interest in and experience with the teachings of Buddhism that have informed my own journey through life. This deep sense of living the spiritual life inspires me to assist others who are seeking to understand or deepen their spiritual life to bring wholeness and healing to mind, body, and spirit.
